Unam strike enters fourth day

WINHDOEK/KEETMANSHOOP - Employees of the University of Namibia (Unam) who on Monday embarked on a nationwide strike at the institution’s 12 campuses by yesterday persisted with the industrial action saying they will continue until their demands for a six percent wage increase back dated to January are met.

Rhino suspects accuse police of brutality

KHORIXAS - Two youths, Johannes Ndaitwa (28) and Ngakuue Kapazu (30) suspected of poaching a rhino at a safari lodge near Etosha National Park have accused the police of beating a confession out of them, including caning them with a stick, resulting in severe injuries on their buttocks.
