WINDHOEK - What was intended to be a community lodge to alleviate poverty and create jobs in the sleepy village of Omatjete in the Daures Constituency has become a curse after the millions budgeted for the project vanished into thin air.

WINDHOEK - High Court Judge Christi Liebenberg yesterday denied an application by Rhyno Richardo du Preez, 35, to have his trial separated from that of his co-accused and former lover Rachel Elizabeth Rittmann, 47, after he admitted to killing the former’s husband with her help on August 23, 2013 in Gobabis.

SWAKOPMUND - Swakopmund resident Cheryl Antoinette Green (57), who was arrested a week ago in Swakopmund for being in possession of cannabis products she said were herbs, was yesterday granted bail of N$5000.
