NPL will relegate teams but promotions still unclear…ad-hoc committee installed to resolve NFD issue

WINDHOEK – After weeks of uncertainty, the executive committee of the Namibia Premier League (NPL) yesterday finally announced that for this season – which ends on Sunday – the league will relegate the bottom three teams, including demoted Young African FC, but the promotion of teams still hangs in the balance due to an inactive National First Division (NFD).

Windhoek – The popular FNB Classic Clashes kicked off with a bang over the weekend, which saw Grootfontein Agri College rugby team overpowering Windhoek Technical High School by 25-15 to start off their campaign on a high note.
