Agribank to reveal drought relief package

WINDHOEK – Following the declaration of a national state of emergency with respect to drought by President Hage Geingob on Monday, the government-owned Agricultural Bank of Namibia (Agribank) said yesterday that it will announce by the end of this week a range of initiatives to support its customers affected by drought.

Over 500 000 cattle strain Uuvudhiya

OSHAKATI - The persistent drought affecting the entire country is expected to worsen in Oshana Region’s Uuvudhiya grazing area where more than 500 000 cattle mainly from Oshana, Oshikoto, and Omusati regions compete for grazing and scarce water resources.

Hanse is the new Master Agronomist
