Inge Kalumbu-Lapp is a Namibian who has been living in Finland for the past seven years after first coming to the country through a bilateral exchange programme between the University of Namibia and the University of Helsinki in 2014. She graduated from Unam with a BA: Social Work, and is a participant graduate of the Youth Leadership Development Programme (YLDP) in Namibia.

A public discussion titled “Sustainable Aviation, Are We Ready?” took place on 29 June 2022 in Windhoek. The event, addressed by the Namibia Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA), amongst others, was intended to shed light on the sustainable aviation outlook for Namibia.

Labour ministry conducts pre-retirement workshop

The labour ministry recently concluded a two-day pre-retirement workshop with participants from the environment and tourism ministry. The evidence-based project provided training to employees in the 50-60 years age range, with the training aimed at preparing participants to plan for, adjust and cope better with retirement.
