Treza Cooper, who is co-hosting the popular breakfast show on Fresh titled ‘Massive Attack’ alongside Azeal Matsoarelle, well-known as DJ Cheeze, has great goals for the show.
The show known for its energetic and hyped vibe, focus on newspaper headlines and gives a platform for the public to call in and express their views on the different topic or issues affecting the country and airs from 06h00 to 10h00.
The 24-year-old who is very much hyped about hosting the show says even though this is her second week on Fresh fm, her ultimate goal for the show is to keep expanding and to keep their audience growing. “I came to fresh to find a new aspect and prospects and so far that’s what I’m appreciating. Fresh is just different from the rest. Fresh is giving people the emanation to come blast on air and that’s what makes me also more proud to be here. We joke around but at the same time try to maintain the seriousness of the show,” says Treza.
Admitting to being shy she describes herself as an outgoing but reserved. “I’m very shy but because I like to talk that probably give a different [side]. It takes a while for me to warm up to new people but as I get to know you better than you get know that I’m a people’s pleaser and an kind individual.”
Cooper might be a new name to Fresh listeners but she has over four years’ experience in the radio industry, having worked at Unam Radio and Base FM previously. She has a diploma in Record and Archive Management, which she obtained from the University of Namibia (Unam). “Keep listening to Fresh FM because it can only get better. Expect the unexpected,” she entices.
