Jane Kabimbe is a 25-year-old  bright,  ambitious and hard working woman to whom the sky is the limit.

Born in Kitwe  in Zambia he grew up in Lusaka and then moved to Windhoek, Namibia  where she grew up with her brother and sister. She attended her primary school at Emma Hoogenhout and advanced to Concordia College were she completed her Grade 12. “I was a very shy person but at the same time extremely silly. I swear I laughed my way throughout high school.”  Jane is currently working as an immigration officer and studying communications at the Polytechnic of Namibia. “I got my first job at 19 through the regular old adverts,” she relates how she became part of the workforce at a tender age

One of most difficult hindrances she faced at an early stage of her life was being an orphan.  She describes that difficult stage as an obstacle financially, as it taught her to be responsible and disciplined during this challenging  time. “I had the support of my sister who later became her mentor, backbone, guardian and a mother, she legally adopted me at a later stage, so I am no longer an orphan,” Jane says. She  sees herself in five years times if God allows it with two children, successful in corporate communications world and spoiling her sister.  Her faith in God and her family keeps her focused and going.  The only thing that breaks her down is the fact that she needs to pay rent from her own pocket every month.

Jane would love to transform her life by “becoming better at managing her time and to get more tasks accomplished” and “revolutionising the nation by becoming God-fearing, then maybe there would be not  so many social problems.”  “Success is not about money, it is especially about happiness, your hustle should never compromise who you are as a person, ” is her message to fellow youths. Learning how to juggle work and her studies at the same time are the hardships that she faces as a young working lady, but says that “those who work hard eventually get to play hard.”
