WINDHOEK – Magistrate Erich Kesslau on Friday granted bail of N$2 000 to two alleged burglars, 26-year-old Nanies Elrico and 25-year-old David Eixab.
The two were arrested on 17 June and face a charge of housebreaking with intent to steal and theft.
The State alleges that on 17 June they stole one Sony flat screen television and one pair of sneakers – the goods valued at N$6 580 – from a house in Hochland Park.
Their right to legal representation was explained to them, and both indicated they would conduct their own defence. The matter was remanded to 21 July.
