Farmers are the backbone of Africa; they are the men and women who work in the searing heat and bitter cold to put food on our tables and clothes on our backs. They rise with the sun to tend to crops and stay up late to review accounts.

In efforts to improve productivity and prepare farmers for the upcoming  agricultural competitions in the region, the Aminuis Agriculture Extension Office, in collaboration with Agribank, held a small stock selection session recently in the Omaheke region.

Now that we have fully covered financial literacy, it is also imperative that as farmers, we find ways to create passive income streams. 

Productive land is one of the world’s most valuable assets in banishing poverty and creating shared prosperity but this can only be achieved if enough nutrients are added to the soil so that it can produce more food and lead to food security.
