Home Farmers Forum Black Nossob Conservancy held community day

WINDHOEK – The Black Nossob Conservancy, under the competent leadership of the chairperson, Mr Calle Heimstädt and the Secretary, Mrs Monika Rumpf, held its bi-annual community day this week at Steinhausen. Approximately 120 employees from the area attended the day, which consisted of mainly sport and entertainment. The highlight was the rope-pulling (toutrek) between the teams who were enthusiastically encouraged by the onlookers.

Ex LPO (Livestock Producers Organisation) chairperson, Mr Kay-Dieter Rumpf and Mrs Sigi Heimstädt were the chefs and prepared three big pots with potjiekos. Some employees also had the opportunity to exhibit their art works.

The theme was “recycling” and speakers of Rent-A-Drum encouraged the people to collect recycle material for recycling purposes.
