WALVIS BAY - A 28-year-old man from Swakopmund died early Saturday morning after he was robbed and attacked by a group of men at the town.

WINDHOEK - The legal trouble of a man charged with murder in the Windhoek High Court was finally resolved last Thursday when the Directorate of Legal Aid in the Ministry of Justice instructed legal representation for him.

WINDHOEK - A Swakopmund man whose indecent assault conviction was overturned with a conviction of attempted rape in the Supreme Court was slapped with a sentence more than twice the original sentence.

WINDHOEK - A 43-year-old senior official in the ministry of works has been accused of raping a 21-year-old woman, who is reportedly now pregnant. A case of rape has been opened against the suspect. 

WINDHOEK - The Windhoek Regional Court yesterday sentenced a 33-year- old man who killed out of rage for apparently having been insulted to serve 18 years in jail.

WINDHOEK - The case of a woman accused of killing her live-in boyfriend earlier this year is set to continue next year in the Katutura Magistrate’s Court.

WINDHOEK - A recent judgement by the Supreme Court of Namibia which effectively voids sentences of more than 37 and a half years imposed for serious crime, is wreaking havoc in the High Court.
