WALVIS BAY - A pastor of the Holy Ghost Fire Ministry in Walvis Bay is facing charges of kidnapping after he allegedly locked up a minor for a week before taking her to Windhoek.

WINDHOEK - A young man from Leonardville, who was only 17 years old when he slit the throat of his two-month pregnant girlfriend, was sentenced to an effective 30 years in jail this week by Windhoek High Court Acting Judge Kobus Miller.

WINDHOEK - State prosecutor Felisitas Sikerete-Vendura this week asked High Court Judge Naomi Shivute to sentence a woman convicted of luring two underage girls from a village in northern Namibia under false promises of employment and then selling them into sexual slavery, to an effective 25 years in jail.
