WINDHOEK-The new, fresh and long awaited fifth album by Exit, I am the Truth, has finally hit the market.
The 18-track album contained variety of genres ranging from Kwaito and Afro Pop to Dancehall. Exit this time seems to have worked very hard to keep his fans behind him while keeping up with his Kwaito style. “I have a countrywide fan base that consists of different people with different tastes in music. I tend to play around with most of the genres I am comfortable with. So I can be able to cater for everyone, though I am still comfortable with my King of Kwaito status that I live up to everyday,” says Exit.
The album features artists such as Kuku Nkandanga, New Turn, M-Jay, Mbwa ya Kalola, Teylo, The Dogg and Mushe. Songs such as Loxion, I am the Truth, Switch Off and of course Killa All-Star are some of the hit songs to watch out on this album. Currently it is selling well in the capital and enjoying massive airplays on the radios. Exit says his new album expresses growth and pure maturity. “It’s not a personal album. I have concentrated more on the development of my generation at large through the wires of the microphone. I have expressed the intellectual capabilities that I possess for the better education of the massive fan base,” says Exit.
