President Hage Geingob, who celebrated his 74th birthday on Monday last week, on Saturday also celebrated the second anniversary of Kavango West as a region. “The third of August was my birthday. I looked at the regions and I realised that there is a young baby somewhere. So instead of coming here first I started my visit in Katima Mulilo and I came here today on your second birthday. I said let’s go and be with them. Let’s go on Saturday and cut the cake with them on their birthday,” Geingob said at Nkurenkuru community hall, where he was heartily welcomed by Kavango West residents.
