WINDHOEK – All roads lead to the spacious Eros Primary School Sports grounds, east of the Namibian commercial capital Windhoek, when the one-day Namzim Newspapers Fun Games gets underway in earnest  tomorrow morning starting at 07h00 – 15h00.

Several corporate companies and government institutions will be in action and out to grill each other in various sporting disciplines that include football, netball and volleyball. The one-day sports gathering promises to have all the required ingredients of a genuine humdinger.

Among the participants will be the National Planning Commission team under the stewardship of former Namibian fast as lightning sprinter, Zepee ‘Cheetah’ Mberiuana.

“While participation will be on a competitive basis, the NPC team will use the opportunity to engage with other stakeholders in the course of national development, by sharing information about its core business especially with regards to the implementation of the fourth National Development Plan (NDP4),” reads a statement from NPC.

Apart from NDP4 implementation process, the NPC will also be ready to take those in attendance through the national budgeting process and national projects currently running country wide, as well as the status of the socio-economic conditions in the country.

“The NPC would therefore like to encourage the public at large to visit our stand during the proceedings for more clarity and additions on the national planning processes towards Vision 2030,” concludes the brief statement.
