WINDHOEK– Did the chilly Friday night breeze got the worst of Sandra Blak?
Revellers who turned up for Acoustic Friday despite the breeze were left wondering as Sandra Blak put up less than captivating performance on the night at the Franco-Namibian Cultural Centre (FNCC). People started moving around showing less interest in her performance. Maybe one may have expected more from her based on the enthusiasm that the public created about her but on the night she could easily have killed the vibe.
Before the Sandra Blak low the show had started to a perfect month end Friday evening party through a poetry show-womanship by Nunu Namises who also goes by the name of Truth. Alongside the electrifying guitarist Christian Polloni they started off the show with exciting ballets and transitioned to international songs to which she added her own flare. She also performed a duet by Bob Marley and Lauren Hill Turn your lights down with local artist Miss H, luring the crowd in a state of enjoyment.
Acoustic Friday night saw the FNCC Terrace jam-packed with both local and foreign revellers socialising to the vibes of good music save for the Sandra Blak hiatus.
