I reiterated on countless occasions that it’s really not my beat to take aim at fellow journos, let alone some moegoes masquerading as Sport Reporters, but issues of late have prompted yours truly to abandon this tradition or undertaking, albeit temporarily.

Firstly, let’s bow our heads in shame, swallow our pride and doff our Korries for Informante’s Editor Max Hamata for his thoroughly researched article which opened a can of worms on the Rugby Union’s shoddy handling of World Cup tickets.

That’s what we call “Investigative Journalism” and these are the type of stuff that should be considered when pen pushers are rewarded at the Annual Sports Awards for Media Practitioners – not the usual piece of crap we have become so accustomed to where Journos are given a pat on the back for not disturbing the goose that lays the golden eggs.

I strongly believe written articles should have an impact on the community we so dearly claim to serve, therefore prompting reaction – journos should keep administrators on their toes at all times since it’s their duty to alert them when they step out of line.

Had it not been for Hamata’s expos???_?_’???_?’???_?
